id=\"extraordinary-general-meeting-march-2025-20th\"><\/span>Extraordinary General Meeting March 2025, 20th<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>U4U membership fee increase<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board of Directors, at the suggestion of the Union Council, has approved an increase in our membership dues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The basic fee would rise from 30 euros a year to 40 euros a year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The support fee would rise from 108 euros a year (9 euros a month) to 120 euros a year (10 euros a month).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rationale:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The last increase was 4 years ago;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our salaries are among the lowest, if not the lowest, of all employee unions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The increase in our activities due to the development of our organization on several sites necessitates partial \u201coutsourcing\u201d of our activities, which has a cost: websites, accounting, production of the Link, quasi-annual election campaigns, etc. This cost must be financed. ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The number of services provided is growing in quantity and quality: legal services (4 or 5 lawyers) for tax and legal analysis, production of a Link 10 times a year (almost monthly), numerous public conferences, missions to the various sites where we are present to meet members and all staff, election campaign material (posters, brochures&#8230;), etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In accordance with article 12 of the Articles of Association, a resolution is submitted to the vote of the U4U EGM:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Single resolution:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GM sets the basic membership fee at \u20ac40 per year and the support fee at \u20ac10 per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vote process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/u4unity.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/AGE_2025_Convocation.htm\" 2024<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Resolutions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resolution no. 1 &#8211; The General Meeting approves the moral report (activity report) presented by the Board of Directors on the Association&#8217;s activities during the past period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resolution no. 2 &#8211; The General Meeting approves the reports appended to the moral report presented by the Board of Directors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resolution no. 3 &#8211; The General Meeting gives a mandate to the Board of Directors to study the organic rapprochement between USHU and U4U within the Regroupement Syndical or another structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resolution no. 4 &#8211; The General Meeting approves the financial reports for 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 and grants discharge to the outgoing Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resolution no. 5 &#8211; The General Meeting approves the 2024-25 budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resolution no. 6 &#8211; The General Meeting sets the annual ordinary membership fee at \u20ac30 and the annual support fee at \u20ac108.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resolution no. 7 &#8211; The General Meeting waives the appointment of Statutory Auditors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resolution no. 8 &#8211; The General Meeting temporarily amends article 6 of the internal regulations for the sole Board elected at this AGM, setting the number of directors at a maximum of thirty. during the past period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolution n\u00b02 &#8211; The General Assembly approves the financial report and gives the discharge of its management to the outgoing Board of Directors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolution n\u00b03 &#8211; The General Assembly approves the 2021 budget.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolution n\u00b04 &#8211; The General Assembly sets the ordinary annual fee at 25\u20ac and the annual support fee at 84\u20ac.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolution n\u00b05 &#8211; The General Meeting waives the appointment of Statutory Auditors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolution n\u00b06 &#8211; The General Meeting temporarily modifies article 6 of the internal regulations for the only Board elected under this GA, setting the number of Directors at a maximum of thirty. <em>This
