{"id":6146,"date":"2024-06-25T07:37:18","date_gmt":"2024-06-25T05:37:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/u4unity.eu\/?page_id=6146"},"modified":"2024-06-25T08:22:14","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T06:22:14","slug":"european-court-of-auditors","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/u4unity.eu\/en\/institutions\/european-court-of-auditors\/","title":{"rendered":"European Court of Auditors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-nv-c-1-color\">A strong team to defend you within U4U<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"a-strong-team-to-defend-you-in-the-staff-committee\"><\/span><strong>A strong team to defend you in the Staff Committee&nbsp;!<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of this month, you will be invited to choose your representatives in the staff committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, Union for Unity (U4U) presents 4 candidates sharing the same <a href=\"https:\/\/u4unity.eu\/en\/u4u\/why-u4u\/\"><strong>values<\/strong> <\/a>\u200b\u200band the same <a href=\"https:\/\/u4unity.eu\/en\/u4u\/our-guidelines\/\"><strong>program<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voting for our candidates ensures that you are represented by colleagues who fight <strong>together<\/strong> for you and who can also count on the support of <strong>a trade union present in all workplaces<\/strong> of the European Institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our <strong>priorities<\/strong> for the Court of Auditors are the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are in favour of maintaining the existing arrangements for <strong>teleworking and hybrid work<\/strong>, and we oppose any form of reduction in opportunities in this area;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We want more <strong>transparency and equal treatment<\/strong> in <strong>promotion and recruitment<\/strong> procedures. We want better control of the rules of permanence for promotion present in the Annex I.B of the Staff regulations;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are for a <strong>housing allowance of at least 1000 euros per month <\/strong>being granted to all colleagues who live in Luxembourg, regardless of their status or grade;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are in favour of an urgent revision of the ceilings for hotels and per diems laid down in the decision on <strong>missions<\/strong>, in order to take account of the real prices prevailing in the countries concerned;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are for a structural and lasting solution to the issue of <strong>medical costs<\/strong> in Luxembourg;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are in favour of taking better account of the problems linked to <strong>mobility in Luxembourg<\/strong>. We are against restrictive approaches based on a reduction in parking spaces but call for incentive measures, such as the introduction of \u201ca bonus\u201d for carpooling, or a possible home-office shuttle service for staff who have to travel more than 30 minutes to and from work when a \u201ccritical\u201d mass of commuters is reached by region, etc.;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a>We are for the opening up additional career and development prospects for <strong>contract and temporary staff<\/strong> <strong>with more opportunities<\/strong> for them to take part in internal competitions<\/a>. Staff are kept informed of our texts, proposals and results (monthly newspaper &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/u4unity.eu\/media\/newsletters\/\">The Link<\/a>&#8220;, <a href=\"https:\/\/u4unity.eu\/en\/\">website<\/a>), and can come and discuss them at our conferences.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>European construction<\/strong>&nbsp;is at the heart of our raison d&#8217;\u00eatre. We clearly link our trade union action to the future of the European project. Through the regular publication of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.graspe.eu\">GRASPE magazine<\/a>, regular training courses and seminars on issues of European interest and the documented elaboration of constructive proposals, we act permanently in the interest of the European project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Unity&nbsp;<\/strong>makes us stronger. We are fighting for the unity of the staff, to create solidarity between all its categories, its professions, all &#8220;generations&#8221; combined.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We work for an active and participatory management of <strong>staff&nbsp;careers<\/strong>, which&nbsp;promotes <strong>a common European culture<\/strong> of solidarity and respect for <strong>diversity<\/strong>.&nbsp;The administration must resist the temptation to do more with less, respect each of our professions and recognise the quality of our work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We do not limit our action to the defence of pay, promotion or pension conditions. We do not only accompany you in all the steps for which you may need effective support. We look after&nbsp;all our <strong>working conditions&nbsp;<\/strong>and always <strong>oppose the opening up of our Staff Regulations<\/strong>, which would risk leading, as always, to unfavourable reforms on all aspects of staff working conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For <strong>our children<\/strong>&nbsp;in cr\u00e8ches, nurseries and European schools, we advocate quality educational provision for all, with sufficient resources for its implementation.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We demand an&nbsp;improvement in staff representation&nbsp;and a&nbsp;strong resumption&nbsp;of <strong>social dialogue.<\/strong> The themes of social dialogue must be broadened, and this dialogue must be made possible at all levels of the institution, in all DGs and services, as close as possible to colleagues.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For a&nbsp;<strong>fair and equal treatment<\/strong>:&nbsp;we are fighting for equal treatment between different categories of staff and between colleagues working at different sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The strength of our union commitment is also explained by taking responsibility within the U4U team based on&nbsp;<strong>commitment<\/strong>, team spirit and merit&nbsp;disconnected from any administrative reference to status (CA, TA, civil servant, ASN) and grades (AST-SC, AST, AD, FG).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>25\/06\/2024<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A strong team to defend you within U4U A strong team to defend you in the Staff Committee&nbsp;!
