U4U and GRASPE are pleased to invite you to a conference with Andrea Mairate<\/strong>, former Economic Advisor to the European Commission.<\/p>\n

The conference will focus on European economic policy and its transformations over the past fifteen years \u2013 from the global financial crisis of 2008-2012 to the energy crisis stemming from the Russian aggression in Ukraine in 2022.\u00a0 Each time, new instruments had to be put in place to deal with economic, social and now geopolitical risks.<\/p>\n

In this scenario of ‘poly-crises’, the European Union is confronted with multiple shocks and challenges that require political and institutional arbitration. We will also question the future prospects after the European elections and the new political agenda of the European Commission.<\/p>\n
