U4U est une organisation syndicale de la fonction publique européenne désormais reconnue au Parlement européen pour participer aux élections du personnel.

Les membres du personnel du Parlement européen affiliés à U4U ont constitué une liste complète – la liste N° 5 - à proposer aux suffrages du personnel.

• U4U défend nos rémunérations, la méthode, les pensions, mais aussi nos conditions de travail (qui concerne aussi les bureaux), le développement et le suivi de nos carrières, la mobilité. Nos carrières doivent se développer sur la base du mérite, en toute transparence.

• U4U combat la précarité du personnel et veut offrir une politique de carrière pour tous.

• U4U met à disposition du personnel des services de qualité : formations, conseils individualisés et juridiques, assistance, information via par ses journaux (Graspe, Le Lien, la Circulaire, …), conférences fréquentes.

• U4U favorise l’unité d’action du personnel et des organisations syndicales, sur les sujets importants, en proposant des actions communes. Nous voulons revaloriser le rôle des syndicats grâce à un syndicalisme plus efficace, plus compétent, plus uni.

• U4U, syndicat inter catégoriel, défend tous les personnels quels que soient leur statut et leur grade, par des revendications fondées sur la solidarité et la réduction des inégalités.

• U4U avance des propositions "unifiantes" qui prennent en compte les attentes de tout le personnel dans une perspective commune, celle d'une fonction publique indépendante, compétente, permanente. Nous voulons préserver le sens de nos métiers.

• U4U, syndicat interinstitutionnel, se bat pour l’unité de la fonction publique européenne et donc pour l'unité du statut de cette fonction publique.

• U4U est très actif dans le dialogue social, fait des propositions constructives, bien argumentées et reconnues comme telles. U4U défend le dialogue social au niveau des services et préconise l’association des personnes aux décisions qui les concernent.

• U4U bâtit ses propositions grâce à une démarche participative, en consultant le personnel par des réunions sur place, des visites de sites, des consultations publiques sur les sujets importants tout en animant un réseau de personnes de contact permanentes, dans chaque lieu de travail.

• U4U, syndicat européen citoyen, conçoit la fonction publique européenne comme au service de la construction d’une Europe solidaire et démocratique. Il insère ses propositions dans une réflexion d'ensemble sur l'avenir de la construction européenne et de sa fonction publique.

Staff Committee : Professional elections 2016 U4U, a European and citizen-oriented trade union, for all categories of Staff of the Institutions

U4U is a trade union organisation of the European Civil Service now recognised by the European Parliament for participation in the staff elections.

European Parliament staff who are members of U4U have drawn up a comprehensive list – list No. 5 - for staff to vote on.

·         U4U defends our pay, the calculation method and pensions, as well as our working conditions (which also concern the offices), the development and monitoring of our careers, and mobility. Our careers must develop on the basis of merit, with complete transparency.

·         U4U opposes the insecurity experienced by staff and is working for a career policy for all.

·         U4U provides staff with quality services: training, individual legal advice, assistance, information via its publications (Graspe, The Link, the Circular, etc.), and regular conferences.

·         U4U promotes united staff and trade union action on important matters, putting forward joint actions. We want to enhance the role of the unions with more effective, competent and united trade union representation.

·         U4U is an inter-category trade union that represents all staff, regardless of their status and grade, through claims based on solidarity and reducing inequalities.

·         U4U puts forward "unifying" proposals that take account of the expectations of all staff members in a common perspective for an independent, competent and permanent Civil Service. We want to preserve the meaning of our jobs.

·         U4U is an interinstitutional trade union that fights for the unity of the European Civil Service and therefore for the unity of the Civil Service Staff Regulations.

·         U4U is very active in the social dialogue and makes constructive, well-argued proposals that are acknowledged as such. U4U stands up for social dialogue social at the level of the services and encourages the involvement of staff in the decisions that concern them.

·         U4U puts together its proposals using a participatory approach, consulting staff at workplace meetings, site visits and public consultations on important subjects, at the same time developing a network of permanent contact persons in each place of work.

·         U4U, a citizen-oriented trade union, sees the European Civil Service as working for the construction of a united and democratic Europe. It integrates its proposals within a global consideration of the future of the European construction and its Civil Service.
