U4U offers training to prepare for EPSO competitions
Places are only guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Course registrations will be refunded if :
– it is refused due to lack of places ;
– the applicant cancels his/her enrolment by e-mail (training.u4u@gmail.com) at least ten days before the start of the chosen session;
– no-shows are not eligible for a refund.

The INSP, created on 1 January 2022, is the French public operator of reference for the recruitment, initial training and continuing education of the State’s senior and executive managers. It also specialises in preparation for EU competitive examinations for many years.

This IN-PERSON training session lasts 6 hours (from 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 16:30) and focuses on preparing for the cognitive reasoning tests of the AST3 Communication and the CAST procedure. Participants will become familiar with the three types of tests (verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning), learn effective solving strategies, and practise using questions similar to those in the actual exams. The platform is available in English or French. ✅ Mock Exam with Expert Guidance: On 25 March (from 9 am to 12 pm), a full mock exam will be organized. A trainer will then go through selected questions step by step, helping you refine your reasoning skills. |

Understanding and Succeeding in the Written Test (Methodology Session)
| OBJECTIVES | U4U is co-organising with our partner INSP (ex-ENA) a *VIRTUAL* training in ENGLISH to help you prepare for written tests for the EU External Competition AD5 and AD6. Training Session Objectives ✔️ Understand the format and objectives of the written test ✔️ Gain insight into the expectations of the selection board ✔️ Improve written communication skills for greater effectiveness ✔️ This session will help participants better understand the dossier published by EPSO ahead of the written test. ✔️ It includes some practical exercises but does not feature a mock exam. |

Reasoning tests training for the AD and AST November 26, 2024

| About the training U4U/ISCA are co-organising with our partner INSP (ex-ENA) an online training in ENGLISH to help you prepare for MCQ reasoning tests (abstract, numerical and verbal). This MCQ is common to all EPSO exams. How to participate? The courses are exclusively reserved for U4U members. If you are not yet a member, please transfer the €30 membership fee to U4U’s account BE39 0016 3506 3019, mentioning “membership”. If you are interested in attending the training, please send an email only to training.U4U@gmail.com with the proof of payment for the training and for the membership fee indicating the email you will use to connect to the training. Nb: any request sent to a different address will not be considered. | OBJECTIVES | These two online self-assessment courses have been designed for the preparation of the “Crisis Management” and “Migration and Internal Security” competitions (EPSO/AD/403/23). |
| WHAT IS OFFERED | Each course is tailored to its specific field and consists of 5 multiple-choice tests with 30 questions to be completed in 40 minutes (i. e. 150 questions in total), under conditions similar to the actual test. The questions have been designed to reflect those of the competition, covering various areas such as the institutions involved in crisis management/migration and security, general knowledge, and data on these public policies at the European level. Each question is accompanied by sources for further study of each topic. |

Do not do this :
- Do not write to U4U to ask if there is space before you register. You simply risk someone else registering before you. If your registration is rejected due to lack of space, you will of course be refunded.
- Do not wait for confirmation of your membership to register – if you have just joined to register for a course, register for the course straight away to secure your place.
- Do not pay your membership fee twice. If you have just completed your membership form with your IBAN, you will be debited in due course. So do not pay the membership fee twice by bank transfer (if this happens, however, you can be reimbursed).
Regarding on-line training :
It is essential for the quality of the course that your camera is switched on and running. The trainer needs to see you to assess your reactions. In principle, your camera should always be active during the course, unless otherwise instructed by the trainer, who may sometimes limit the use of the camera to specific interactions with you.
Refusing to activate the camera at the request of the trainer may lead to your expulsion from the course, without the possibility of a refund.
