Loïc LEROUGE is Research Director at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), member of the Centre for Comparative Labour and Social Security Law, and a specialist in occupational health.
Author of numerous articles and scientific conferences, his research consists in studying how the law tackles occupational health issues under a comparative approach of legal systems.
In order to enrich his research, he organises a dialogue with other disciplines and with stakeholders. His current research is characterised by the objective of a better understanding of the environment in which health and work are embedded, with an emphasis on a holistic and ethical approach to occupational health.
The generalisation of hybrid work, the implementation of which has been evaluated for the first time by the European Commission, raises many questions that have not been addressed, particularly those concerning health in the workplace.
The courts have been called upon in this area. In the current context, an analysis of French and European case law can be extremely useful.
